Kathryn Pierrepont is an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists which means that her practice has been deemed to meet the standard for a competent, ethical and independent practitioner. Kathryn adheres to their Ethical Framework of Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy
Kathryn has gained an MSc (Merit), Post-Graduate Certificate and Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Derby and a Diploma from the Life Coaching Institute. In addition, she has worked as a Registered General and Children's Nurse for twenty years and as a volunteer counsellor for a national bereavement care organisation.
Having had eleven years experience of working as a nurse with the deaf, Kathryn holds a Stage 2 British Sign Language qualification.
In order to develop and enhance her practice, Kathryn regularly attends workshops and training events.
